Spicy Pepper tofu

There are 2 kinds of spicy that exist, the one that burn the mouth, and the one that tickles the tongue that come from black pepper. Why not combinate the two flavor in a good simple meal of mid-fried tofu? That what I did here.

Ingredients:
1 bloc of extra firm tofu sliced into 5mm slices
3 bird eyes chili, dried and hydrated, sliced
1/3 tea spoon of cushed roasted sichuan pepper corn
Potato starch
Sesame oil (for cooking)
1 tbs of green peas

Cover the tofu with the starch and keep aside.
Heat 4 tbs spoon of sesame oil and cook the chilis.
Add the peppercorns, the tofu and the peas and cook until the tofu is lightly browned.
Serve!
